The invite read Devi and Dilip Cherian Christmas Party at the Lodhi Gardens Restaurant, today- 17th December. It was again sunny afternoon lunch and I had a great time socializing with people.
Seen below are the host and the hostess of the party- Dilip and Devi Cherian. Dilip is considered India's foremost image management Guru and resident iconoclast.
Devi Cherian is a widely read columnist and a well-regarded writer on social and political issues. She also works with NGO's.
Sumant Jayakrishnan is a designer. We have been bumping into each other at fashion shows.

Seen below with me is Delhi Chief Minister, Shiela Dikshit and her son, Sandeep Dikshit. She was so polite and nice to me. In fact, she was having food at the time, this picture was being shot and despite me telling her to remain seated, she got up. Whenever, I have met her, she has been this nice and gentle.
Sandeep Dikshit is also a dance enthusiast and has visited my studio but barely gets time to dance. He promised me today that he will find time for dancing.
Who does not know Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. He was so gracious and pleasant. No wonder all women are his big fans and fall for him.
And then there was Rajdeep Sardesai. In fact, there was whole lot of media. Rajdeep seemed interested to know about my blog.
Seen below with me is James Plasman, who works with the US Embassy.
Mr. Vinod Dua, is a senior journalist and Padam Shri recipient. These days he is doing a show called "Zaike Ka Safar" about food. So over food, we actually discussed food and fitness.
Below is our famous fashion designer, Rohit Bal/ Gudda. He was wearing an interesting red cape and a friend of mine teased him that the cape reminded him of red riding hood.
Jokes aside, the party invite did read, "if you wish, flaunt a touch of red for a little extra Christmas Cheer".
Sumant Jayakrishnan is a designer. We have been bumping into each other at fashion shows.
