Complete make over solution

Yay!! It is August. And I love this month. Not because of monsoon (not at all). But because it is my birthday month. I do not know about others. But since childhood, I am always excited about my Birthday. The whole year I look forward to it, plan for it, dream about it, etc etc. I have no fear of getting older. Anyways! update on the work front. My work has expanded. Besides fitness, I have added many feathers to my portfolio. Now my company undertakes complete makeovers. I have a team of doctors (cosmetic surgeons, dermatologist, dietician, dentist, fashion designer, stylist, make up artist, hair stylist, etc) all in house with me. We work on public speaking, grooming, finishing, etc. We work with individuals as well as corporates. The soft launch was done 3 months back. But we were just testing the waters. Now we are fully into it. We are also undertaking medical tourism for people traveling from overseas for any of their needs. This month we undertook 12 weight loss surgeries and th...

To describe happiness is to diminish it.   .. said Stendhal - author of Le Rouge et le Noir Thus with any further ado, I will let this post go down as "the post where I used more words to describe an outfit than a feeling". It's just a little bag, but we feel naked in public without it.  - Carrie, Sex and the City - What can be more true that this short, but to the point, quote by Carrie? Whatever we do, wherever we go the one fashion item that is always present in our lives is a bag. Be it handbag, shoulder bag, clutch, minimal, maximal, too small for your phone, or big enough to house an entire weekend attire, the bag is our trusty sidekick. And whether our baggage, especially emotional one, is big or small there is always a bag for it. Bag: Lacoste Dress: It is old one. From my export line. Also worn here before. Glares: LV Necklace and bracelets : Dilli haat I like this Salsa belt. Bought it in Pondicherry from Hidesign. It is old one. Now I do not buy leather anymore.  One day a young monk on his journey home, came to the banks of a wide river. Staring hopelessly as he pondered on just how to cross such a wide barrier, he spotted a great teacher on the other side. The young monk shouted over...

Parasites, strange species

The world is full of bad. Bad people, bad clothes, bad lunches, bad experiences, bad weather, bad relationships, bad heartbreaks. On the bright side, for every Yin, there is a Yang. A good, amazing, fascinating, beautiful Yang.  I remember Chuck Palahniuk saying:  “Have your adventures, make your mistakes, and choose your friends poorly -- all these make for great stories.”  Newsflash of the day? If bad  friends make for great stories, good friends make for amazing ones! So whatever happened yesterday, make a determined decision to wake up on the bright side today. Put on your best face & outfit, give a call to a good friend, and go weave an amazing story. I know all kinds of species (some ridiculous ones too). There is this girl I know- if one complimented her for anything- her dress, etc, her standard answer used to be, " This is 20 year old, or 15 year old". While I do understand and appreciate vintage and antique, but what pride does one take by labeling EVER...

This can save your life. See it carefully. Maybe practice it too (shadow boxing). These are some good core conditioning exercises. Like my nail art, I am so tempted to try these. :) very wacko. So bizarre. Nice idea for nail art. Great vegan food. Bread has to be vegan (without any milk, butter), and milk on the side has to be either soya or almond milk. This is my wish list.

Few days back I got this wedding card (invite). Since it was my favorite fuchsia color and my favorite print, I just could not throw it away and kept it, thinking, I will make something out of it. Today I gave myself, this "do it yourself" project and revamped it. This is the cover from outside. Inside, it was all written. I had to cover and hide it And finally paste my picture on it. My picture frame is ready. It is cute.
