Earlier, I have posted the pendant shown below, on my this blog post. It was a gift from my husband.

This is another gift he gave me. I love this kind of jewelry with dance (Tango) figurines. Both these have been made and imported from Italy.

My glittery nail art

I have brought lot of glitter nail paints and nail art pens from US. Here is another quick and easy nail art I did.

My nails are all small right now. That does not stop me from doing the nail art. Today I took out my nail art pen that I recently got from US. It is so simple to use. This is what I did today. 

Things used: 5 fluorescent nail colors

I shopped a lot in US. It is the place for shopaholics like me. It would take me more than a year to unveil everything that I shopped for there. But to start with, I did indulge a lot in exquisite things for nail art. My nails are not in super shape right now. Most of them are chipped. Hence, I am doing basic glitter nails.

My first cello tape nail art

I have been reading and seeing a lot of nail art done with cello tape. I never did try one myself. Though I have been intending to do it for a long time. I must say, it is not at all difficult. It is rather easy to do and takes very little time. It is pretty inexpensive, stays long, looks good and you can play around a lot with it- with designs and colors. What is stopping you? Give it a try. All you need is a cello tape, nail paint and scissors.
Since it is my first attempt, I wanted to keep it basic and simple.

First I applied the basic color.

I applied this darker color on the cello tape.

I cut the tape into stripes an applied it on my nails. Pretty simple. Isn't it?

Lips and nails

I made this dotted nails myself today. It was a quick, rush job. Not very neat. But I intend to change it soon.

I went looking for lip shades in MAC. And they showed me this pigment. It seemed too loud. But because it is my favorite fuchsia, I just did not have a heart to say no to it. I bought a year's stock of other lip shades today. But something strikingly different was this pigment. You can apply it on lips, eyes, cheeks, etc. It is real shocking pink in real- like a florescent pink.
