Yesterday evening, I saw this amazing play by Paresh Rawal- Krishan vs Kanhaiya. It was hilarious but has also very thought provoking. It had a deep message about religion, truth, believes, rituals and traditions and the way people do charity and give donations. Very entertaining. The play was being shown first time in Delhi. The direction and acting was fabulous.
Photography was not allowed. Hence, I took only the following shot with my Iphone at the end when Ustad Amjad Ali Khan presented flowers to all the actors, including Paresh Rawal himself.
A hilariously entertaining and sensationally shocking Hindi play Krishan vs Kanhaiya. It is a story of an atheist who incurs huge losses when his antique shop is destroyed by an earthquake. The story revolves around the fight of the atheist with the Almighty. Along with the ever-versatile Paresh Rawal is his team of talented TV and stage artists including Dharmender Gohil, Sirdhar Vatsar, Vaibhav Biniwala, Khusboo Brhmbhatt, Chirag Vora, Ankit and others. This Hindi play is based on the super-hit comedy Gujarati play “Kanji Virrudh Kanji” currently rocking the Mumbai Theatres.
