Sometime back, I had posted these pictures on a blog post here . Today my friend showed me a blog  where Juhi Chawla is wearing a same chanderi Saree, though with a different and I have to admit, better blouse. What do you think? And here is another blog post  where I had posted my this outfit pictures Does my Dad's Jewellery has any similarity to Sonam Kapoor's jewellery? Dad I think you should also notice her choker and get that made for your dear daughter.

Angel

Image
Guruji's Knowledge Sheet: Angels Angels are a part of the Big Self. The infinity has diverse qualities, and specific qualities assume names. They are called Angels. Angels are nothing but a ray of your Big Self.   They are there to serve you when you are centered. Like roots and stems and leaves come out of a seed when it is sprouted, all the Angels in your life manifest when you are centered. Angels rejoice in your company, but you have nothing to gain from them. They only come around those who have nothing to gain from them. Angels are like your extended arms. Like all the colors are present in the white sunlight, all the Angels are present in your higher self. Bliss is their breath, dispassion their abode.   The consciousness which is bliss, innocence, omnipresent, and the bestower of dispassion is Shiva. Krishna is the outer manifestation of Shiva. And Shiva is the inner silence of Krishna. - Sri Sri || Jai Guru Dev || I am sitting with another angel- She is Art Of Living...

Recycle

Image
Do you ever recycle your outfits? I do. Years back (at least 10 year- may be more), I got this ghaghra skirt from Ritu Kumar along with a top from her. Now you can't simply discard a piece from Ritu Kumar. I had spent a bomb on it. But it soon went out of fashion. Such long, never ending skirts were no more in. It looked unflattering. So what did I do with it? Watch. Skirt and top- Ritu Kumar Location: Peoria Bag: Benetton I converted the same in a Anarkali.  Bag: Gucci Location: Srinagar I was able to use it again. The fabric was as good as new. The style had gone out of fashion but it was recreated and made trendy.

Just another one

Image
Despite the fact, that I had said, that I would not be putting the saree posts for a long time, here is one more. Me and mom loved this same saree so much that we both got identical ones for us. Maheshwari Saree: Fab India. Jewellery: My daddy strongest. (Bought from dad) Watch: Anne Klein Too much of Sarees. Right? So let me put Kiran Sawhney as fitness trainer also on this post. Lets see a striking contrast. This picture was published some time back for a publication here. Another article about me also got published here.

Borrowed

Image
If I have to share clothes, it is only with my sister. Sometimes we include our mom also in this. But between me and my sister, we borrow each others clothes a lot. When I visit her, I travel light and most of the times, raid her closet for clothes, till the time I have shopped enough of my own clothes and filled my suitcases. When she visits me, I open the doors of my closet for her. She is a bit shorter than me but we still do manage. Sometimes I think, I look better in the clothes borrowed from her. Here are few examples. What do you think? This dress I had got for her from Tokyo from Issey Miyake. But I got to borrow it from her and wear it. This dress she gifted to me and then found it too nice. So now she has it. (This is how much we can rotate things.)
