I have seen unlimited fashion magazines, fashion blogs, various shops (world over).
You all know I am so inspired by so many fashion blogs that I keep mentioning. But, I am not inspired by a single person, blog, etc when it comes to choice of footwear.
First let us see what I do not like in a footwear. Following are a big NO.
So what are the choices left?
I have a fantastic arched foot. I am extremely comfortable wearing heels. I can practically run in heels. I dance in heels all day long without getting tired.
So what I LOVE is
My favorite brands. Exactly in the order of priority.
Brands completely not fond of or are a Big NO for me.

 - Platforms

So what are the choices left?
I have a fantastic arched foot. I am extremely comfortable wearing heels. I can practically run in heels. I dance in heels all day long without getting tired.
So what I LOVE is
- Nice stilettos
 - More than flip flops, I prefer closed heel cage, ankle straps. Though, I have few flip flops too.
 - I also like string ties
 - High boots (have to be eye catching and different. Not run of the mill).
 - For my own workout, I wear- Nike/Adidas.
 - If I am with a client in the studio, I would like to slip into any comfy flat, closed, balleria kind of shoes, without socks. (Easy to wear and take off, airy, comfy, easy to demonstrate moves).
 - At home, I am either in Tone Walker or Fit Flops.

My favorite brands. Exactly in the order of priority.
- Comme Il Faut- All designs. They are all super duper, sexy, made for me.
 - Nine West
 - Christian Louboutin
 - Manolo Blahnik
 - Louis Vuitton
 - Burberry
 - Miu Miu
 - Ferragamo
 - Charles and Keith
 - I should also mention that there is a guy in mumbai, from whom I get my shoes made. His shoes are really really nice. Check his facebook page here.
 - Prada
 - Gucci
 - Fendi
 - Dior
 - Coach
 - Clarks
 - Guess

Brands completely not fond of or are a Big NO for me.
- Reebok
 - Converse
 - Crocs (Though I do own one)
 - Aldo
 - Bottega Veneta (Like their clutches not footwear)
 - Tods
 - Hermes (Again like their bags not shoes)
 - Jimmy Choo

What is your style?

Well hon... as you have already observed, I LOVE wedges!
ReplyDeleteI LOATHE kitten heels! And pointy toes... on me only though because I have wide feet... and althogh I have flat feet, I can arch my foot so I too am very comfortable in heels!
But... the older I get... the less willing I am to wear stiletto heels. I want solidarity under my foot.
Such a good analysis. You know the best.
ReplyDeleteI have a flat foot and can't wear high heels:(
Hmmm... I love footwear - all kinds. Stilettes, point toes, wedges, platforms, understated, bling, green shoes, pink shoes, black, brown, reeeeddddd. I love shoes too much to dislike anything. Which doesn't mean that i'm not choosy - for me the main thing is that it has to be unusual or at least something i haven't worn before.
ReplyDeleteI love mojris, flats and comfortable booties:) Just can't wear high heels - as you know:)
ReplyDeleteI like all kind of shoes except clogs and this post has made me want to go shopping
