"I wish I had invented blue jeans. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity - all I hope for in my clothes." - Yves Saint Laurent -
Unlike Monsieur Laurent I am not very impressed by the invention of the blue jeans, let alone by its introduction in everyday fashion. However, regardless of my personal preferences towards this utilitarian item of clothing, I cannot overlook its most prominent qualities: versatility and reliability.
A pair of jeans is like an ex boyfriend that you sporadically get together with in-between relationships. They're not the most prominent item in your wardrobe, but when all else fails they're just what you need for a well deserved morale and ego boost.
I don't know if you've missed me (here's hoping!) or not, but I know I've missed you! However, I've been very "busy and important", as there has been a huge amount of things that I needed to do in real life, which consequently kept me away from my beloved virtual life to do a personal fashion post.
I am wearing:
Jeans: Espirit (more than 4 year old)
Structured Shirt: Marks and Spencer (More than 6 year old).
Scarf with brooch and belt- Bought in Buenos Aires. (See the post about them here)
Bag: Burberry: Limited Edition
Heels: Nine West.
